westrac technology training centre
We are proud to be collaborating with WesTrac at their new Technology Training Centre in Collie.
Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical industry experience with the latest Cat® machinery.
Our shared commitment working with WesTrac is to upskill the community, helping to create opportunities for those looking to start in the civil construction or mining industries.
Delivery and Assessment
We offer one or two day course options at this facility, suited towards operators of all experience levels.
Training will include true on-site requirements, such as completing a breath test, site inductions, pre-start checklist and hazard report forms.
Student numbers are capped at 3x-4x per course, allowing each student to have plenty of training time on the machine.
Requirements
Students will need to demonstrate sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Please advise us if you have any LLN concerns or may require extra assistance. Support will be available to you, and/or adjustments can be made to ensure you are not disadvantaged in completing your course.
Students will be required to undergo breath testing before entering the facility, and may be subject to random drug testing.
